We invited 24 oil, pastel, & watercolor Artists with local & national recognition to Bozeman to paint our beautiful valleys, rivers, lakes and mountains. Over 158 pieces were created throughout the week of July 28th, featuring scenes from Hyalite, Paradise Valley, Downtown Bozeman, Tinworks, Museum of the Rockies and many more prominent locations in Gallatin Valley.

Join us for Plein Air Montana 2024. Events begin July 28th and will last until opening night at 6pm August 3rd. Gathering local and national artist, we will be hosting events to meet the artist, purchase work, and participate in workshops in Plein Air. Art is meant to be enjoyed and understood in person; be a part of Bozeman’s growing and vibrant art community and enjoy the scenery of our beautiful valley.
Work made during the event will be shown and sold at the Bozeman Art Museum between our opening night on August 3rd and ending on August 30th.

August 3rd, 9-11 am – Morning Quick Draw at Cherry River Fishing Access, Open to local community members & artists to participate and sell, Noon Quick Draw Sale at the Bozeman Art Museum, no sign up required to participate
August 3rd, 6-8 pm – Plein Air Montana 2024 exhibit opening night celebration & sale
