Glacier Revisited
Our current exhibit, Glacier Revisited, features lithographs, prints, and paintings of Glacier National Park. A history based exhibit featuring a vintage poster collection of the park and paintings from local artist.
The exhibit features 53 of Lee Silliman’s historic 1900 through 1940 artworks and ephemera (with the founding of the park in 1910) along with a number of original artworks which represent local artist’s perspectives of the park. Utilizing the artwork to track the development of the park and reveal its rich history, Silliman will present “The History of Glacier National Park” at The Museum of the Rockies Hanger Auditorium on June 5th at 6:30.
