ReCouping Sovereignty: Native Artists Amend the Narrative

Come in and see our newest exhibit Recouping Sovereignty: Native Artists Amend the Narrative! The exhibit runs from Friday, September 3, 2021 until December 18, 2021. Admission is free to everyone. 

Accompanying Lecture Series

All lectures will be presented at the Hager Auditorium at the Museum of the Rockies, 600 W. Kagy Blvd., Bozeman, MT.

Tuesday, September 14, 2021, 7:00pm. ReCouping Sovereignty, a talk by Jennifer Woodcock-Medicine Horse, Ph.D., BAM Curator.

Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 7:00, Contemporary Native American Art, a talk by John Haworth, Emeritus Executive Director of the Smithsonian’s NMAI/Gustav Here Museum.

Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 7:00pm, Montana Native Artists Panel. Panelists to be announced.
